Gastroenterology and Liver Division

In 1987, this unit was established in Jordan University Hospital, it is considered as one of the highly specialized and developed Gastroenterology and liver units at the level of Jordan and the region. This unit includes a medical laboratory specialized for providing different kinds of vaccines for liver diseases.

· Upper Endoscopy.

· Total Colonoscopy.

· Band Ligation of Esophageal Varices.

· Liver Biopsy.

· Management of Cholelithiasis.

· PH + Manometric Studies of GI

· Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)

· Colonic polypectomy.

· Management of GI Bleeding by using Endoclips and Laser Therapy
